Quarterly Board Meeting Minutes: Monday, March 23, 2009

Others: Joe Harris, Bar Manager

Peter May called the meeting to order at 7:35 pm.

Election of Board Officers - According to By-Laws Article VI, Section 1, the board elected Peter May as president, and Bill Wilkerson as Secretary-treasurer.

Approval of Minutes of Annual Membership Meeting - The board approved the minutes.

Financial Report - The bar is producing enough income when added to FONDCA's monthly donation to cover the cooperative's minimum monthly payment on its loans.

Bar Management Report - Joe Harris has been doing a good job managing the bar. He is recruiting more volunteers and will hold a training session soon.

Green Roof Project - The board approved the concept plan for the green roof whish is proposed to be installed on the front canopy. The next step is to obtain the permits.

Black-Out Curtains - The board inspected the black-out curtains which will be used when movies are shown at the cafe.

2nd Quarter Board Meeting - The board set Monday, June 15, 2009 as the date for its next quarterly meeting.

The meeting was adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
