Poetry Moment

Maryland and DC residents are invited to submit poems for our bimonthly Poetry Moment exhibit, posted in front of the cafe.

The August-September winner of the Poetry Moment competition is Ty Gray-El, whose poem Blown Away is now on view in the poetry box outside the cafe.

The Brothers Yares - Upright bass, 12 string guitar, more strings than you can shake a stick at ....throw in a little brotherly love and abuse, a helping of good ol' Americana, and a touch of the Middle East and you have The Brothers Yares. This is American folk and rock music born in the wilds of Southern New Jersey and steeped in the bewilderment of the Middle East. Check out when Jersey comes to Jaffa and back!
