Interested in performing at the New Deal Cafe? Great! We welcome performance art of all sorts: singers, musicians, dancers, comedy! Acts need to be able to perform at least a 50 minute set. We will book one or two hours with a performer depending on the evening and the opportunities to present both a variety and high quality performances on our Stage West. Open Mic Nights

The Open Mic with James is a free-form venue for creative self expression including Music, Spoken Word, Poetry, Comedy, Juggling, and even on occasions a Banjo Player. This open mic is held on the second Thursday of each month. Sign-up starts at 6:40 pm and the show starts at 7 pm. Time slots are limited to 15 minutes or three songs. Check the calendar to see if this month's open mic has a special theme, such as "Einstein's Birthday Bash" or "Cool tunes for Global Warming."
