The scheduling of events on weekends is dependent on seasonal scheduling for special concerts and festivals. As long as a group can identify a date at least 3 months in advance, the planning and preparation for setting aside the cafe space can be easily worked into the operational plan.

The back room is intended for rentals for private parties. The rate for the room depends on the day of the week and on any other arrangements for catering that go along with the party. Generally, we charge $175 per hour just for the rental of the room with no associated catering. When there is an arrangement for drinks, and open bar, food, or platters, the rate goes down relative to the catering and length of time. In the past, we have scheduled private events for 50 to 60 people with set-ups, food and drinks for up to three hours for a fees ranging from around $900 and $1,400 total.

We can offer anything from simple platters and drinks to a full sit down dinner service. The options for room use and costs of catering will be redefined and published this fall once the new management team finishes with the planning.

On Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the cafe is closed for regular business, but we will host special events like conferences or receptions.
